The Northeast Pilates Advantage

Northeast Pilates Education Center is New England’s most recognized facility for STOTT PILATES® teacher training and education / certification programs.  In addition to STOTT PILATES®, we offer teacher training in the other Merrithew Health & Fitness™ Brands including ZEN•GA™, Total Barre™ and CORE™.

Our team includes over seven Merrithew Health & Fitness™ Instructor Trainers, including one Master two Lead Instructor Trainers.  Our ITs have travelled throughout the US and the world sharing their expertise with instructors world-wide.

Most of our courses and workshops are held at Northeast Pilates Headquarters in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA .  We also hold teacher trainings throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maryland

STOTT PILATES®

STOTT PILATES® is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. PJ O’Clair was an integral part of the programming team for ZEN•GA™. ZEN•GA™ is a synergistic blend of mind-body modalities, supported by exercise science and the newest findings in fascial fitness. We offer teacher training courses and a variety of workshops for instructors wishing to teach ZEN•GA™ to their clients.

Total Barre™ is a barre program that integrates elements of Pilates, dance, cardio & strength training, and is fully expandable and adaptable to any client base. We offer an instructor training course and several workshops to prepare you to teach this biomechanically sound and fun program set to music.

CORE™ unique training program focuses on functional fitness targeting core strength and kinesthetic awareness leading to improvements in total-body strength and power.
